Sorry Brain Isn't Working Today

I've been up most of the night watching a father grieve over losing his only daughter who took her own life last night. She had to bury her only son a year ago. She's ended her pain, her Father's has doubled as he prepares to bury his only child.............

I will be back after I can collect my thoughts and think straight, it's just too  much right now...............

My Oh My What A Glorious Day.....

Yes that was sarcastic! I get to work bright and shiny this morning and a guy across from me has this God awful gypsy music blaring, it's the kid of music that makes you think little leprechan's should be running around with their pots of gold! I can't describe the nonsense but it was definately a sound that made you want to go postal! hahahaha Whew, I had to shut my door and listen to crickets instead! Much better!

I've got a killer headache already today so I see going home early in my future. My baby girl is frustrated because she keeps seeing things and they come true. I told her to start thinking I won the lotto and all would be great! She didn't laugh, I tried!

I'm signing her up for driver's ed today, look out Texas roads! It's ON if she's behind the wheel!

She sure looks cute behind the wheel, not sure about the leg up thing. Darn thing learned from her Mom eeck.........

I am off to answer more complaints now..........it seems today is a day full of people yelling! YAY LOVE IT.............it's just a chicken wing peeps, it's not the end of the world............WHEW! I think they forgot I am THE QUEEN OF WINGS!

Gator game attire......

Okay this is getting exciting! I have so much to do and not much time to do it. We leave for the Florida/ Alabama game next Friday morning and I've got a wardrobe to plan! Hello this is one fancy shin-dig! I can see my luggage now....

Yea it'll look something like that!

I hope I can find the right boots to wear to the game. I'm thinking comfy is necessary since I'm sure there will be tons of walking. I think I have everything else planned in my mind on what to wear? I hope anyway!

Even though my boy Tebow won't be playing, I'm still excited to watch both teams play. Florida will always be my team, but I am looking forward to seeing the Heisman winner Ingram as well. I'd like Florida to pull the win off for sure!

I'm sure I'll have more to rant and rave about soon...........oh yea GO GATORS!

Walleyed pain in the neck.....

Ok the weekend is supposed to be the great relaxing time that everyone counts down to. This last weekend was just awful. My neck is causing my right arm to stay numb and now my left one is following. I really thought the acupuncture was the magic key but it doesn't appear to be. Having your neck hurt is just about more than you can imagine. It causes your head to hurt, pound is more like it. I noticed even my face muscles were hurting from it. I stayed in bed most of the weekend but that still didn't help because when I am upright it hurts. Off to call the specialist now.............

Oh and who can forget the Cowboys and their lovely loss? At least the Gators won!

At least it's Friday!

Whew today is not off to a good start! Went to get gas and the automatic stop thing didn't work, I had fuel spewing everywhere! Oh I was mad! I just keep saying "It's friday! It's friday!".....I'm sleeping in tomorrow!

This week has been one of the fastest weeks I've had in a long time. Work is as busy as it can possibly be. It's like the Super Bowl is happening now!

My right arm and neck are back being numb, I'm sure stress has something to do with it. I guess I'm going to have to break down and see this specialist. I was hoping to continue with the acupuncture but that's only a temporary fix, a good one, but just for a little while.

I get to see my precious nephew this weekend so what could be better than that? Hmmmmm I don't think anything can! How could you not love this precious face?

I hope I get time to just do nothing this weekend, that's what sounds most inviting after this week. Have a great weekend!

Counting Sheep....

The countless sleepless nights have begun. UGH! I will be a zombie for the next several months as I wake up thinking about durned chickens! Ok, maybe I'm a little too into my work but I absolutely love it! Hunting chickens down is what I do best. Somehow wings and football go hand and hand, throw in the cowboy's and then all heck breaks loose!

I know this much, the Cowboys are without a doubt America's team and it can be proven when they win our sales go through the roof nationwide. It's unbelievable. LOVE IT!

My brain is in a sleepless fog right now, I'll post more if I get time.

Gotta find my A game.............

Ok so it's football season, those of you that know me know this means I have to put my "A" game hat on and dig in because stress is going to become the norm for my world until we get past the Super Bowl.

When I say "A" game, I'm not referring to this..........

I'm talking about the mad hunt for over 5,000,000 chicken wings just for the BIG game! Meaning this game.....................

Which happens to be in my back yard this year YIKES!

With THE game being in Texas and the Cowboys predicted to take the NFC East, that means there better be a bunch of scared chickens because I'm gonna get them!

They aren't safe from THE QUEEN OF WINGS! In the end, I will get the little boogers and we will have complete success as we always do. It's just getting there over the next few months that will be the challenge. I will fully earn my Tiara and will wear it proudly as the Queen of Wings should.....

So to all of my feathered friends out there, be scared, be very scared! To my friend friends, I'll make it through this, I'm putting my "A" game on now! I always win this game! Patience grasshoppers, oh and maybe a neck rub or two will help!?!?!

Trying, Trying, Trying....

My goodness I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm not sure if it's from stress or what, but I'd like it back! No sleep makes me grouchy bigtime!

I'm "trying" to wait two weeks before having to go back to the chiropractor but it's not looking very good. If I stay positive I can do it, right? RIGHT!

Even though it's only Tuesday this week has been "trying" already. After I spent hours shampooing the carpet and tripping over a radio cord, breaking my styrofoam cup and soda going all over the fresh clean carpet, I still have a nagging ex husband who hasn't paid child support and a daughter who is "trying" to get over breaking up with her boyfriend. I'm "trying" to get a bunch of teenagers to see that I am not their maid! And I've got a car that's "trying" my last nerve! Why I sold my yellow truck, I will never know! Oh wait, it was the $150 a week in fuel, whew that's right!

Long week already, that's for sure! I'm ready for the weekend to relax! I almost forgot, it's the big Jalepeno' cookoff contest! YAY

                    I'm sure there'll be some hurting fools after Saturday!

I vote we all go to an island and try to get a tan! That's the kind of trying that I dig!

A weekend full of remembering.............

As 9/11 came and went many of us spent time reflecting on where we were when the world stopped for a very tragic time. I myself was at work already. I had just dropped the kids off at school. Even though it didn't happen in Dallas, we were all freaked out. Our office let us go get our children. I raced to pick mine up. If we were under attack, I wanted my kids with me. There was no way I could be away from them. It was pretty crazy at the school too.

There were no airplanes flying in the sky, it was as if the world truly stopped turning for several days. The images of all of the horror was almost too much to absorb. We are Americans, we are free, this doesn't happen to us.

Lady Liberty was still standing tall and proud! I know many proud Americans that are serving this great country and I thank you all! Your service and dedication is a tribute to you indeed.

Never forgotten................................

The rest of the weekend was spent with me shampooing carpets! Yay me! Both kids were working so that left me to getter done! It looked great until I tripped over my alarm clock cord and spilled my drink all over it! I said a couple of choice words and then went to bed. I'd obviously had a crappy night. I think I reflected a little too much on how my life was going. I'm going to start this weekend fresh and make it go the way I want it to. Here's hoping you had a wonderful weekend too!

The boys of fall have arrived............

It dawned on me today that this is the last year of High School football because my youngest is now a Senior! As we head out to watch the Friday Night Lights, it brings excitement and sadness as I know she's growing up. It also brings mass chaos because I will be in full blown Mum making mode for the next several weeks!!! ARGH!

It is exciting because I finally after 12 long years get to make her an all white, Senior Mum! YAYAYA I've waited so long for this! As the years have gone by, I've watched the colors change and the size grow along with Sutton. Each one I've made has special memories attached to it.

My house fills up with Mum's pretty quickly but it's very exciting! I am going to spend most of my time building that perfect all white Senior Mum for her. I'm sure I will be talked in to making others again, I don't know how to say "No". There's just something about the importance of a Mum and I'm glad I can be a part of making a teenage girl feel special.

So hello boys of fall........I hope the Pirates take it all! Good luck to every one of you as you take the field tonight and may this season be the best of all!

After the rain...

Well I managed to figure out the starting point of this blogging thing. Let's hope I can keep going. The last two nights have been crazy around our house. There were two tornadoes that were down in Dallas and one was headed straight for home. I tracked both of my punks down and made sure they were together so that I at least knew where they were. The tornado sirens were screaming loudly at us to find cover. What do I do? I go outside! The clouds were showing their anger for sure. The trees were doing backbends and I felt surely some would snap. The dogs were going crazy and then all of the sudden it was gone and the sun came peering through the clouds. It was almost magical. I felt instantly that everything was going to be ok.

I'd like to put in a request to have the rain go away for a little while. We are all water logged! Plus, there's golfing and sun tanning to get done before Old Man Winter comes barreling in.

I'll post more in a little bit, there's chickens that are needing to be bought!
